Drew Carey, Host
Comedian Drew Carey is host of CBS's "The Price is Right and Power of 10, and starred in the hit primetime TV series The Drew Carey Show and improv showcase Whose Line is it Anyway? A long-time libertarian and true Renaissance man, Drew is the author of the bestselling collection Dirty Jokes and Beer, an accomplished sports photographer, and a dedicated fan of soccer and all Cleveland sport teams. In his introduction to Reason's 2003 anthology Choice: the Best of Reason, Drew wrote, "We need a magazine like yours to help fight the stupid drug laws, the stupid immigration laws, and stupid big government in general. Free Minds and Free Markets! Right on, my man. Freedom!" He is a graduate of the Platypus Workshop, which helped inspire Reason.tv's Drew Carey Project.

 Nick Gillespie, Editor-in-Chief, Reason.com and Reason.tv
Nick Gillespie is editor in chief of Reason.tv and Reason.com and features the staff weblog Hit & Run, named by Playboy, Washingtonian, and others as one of the best political blogs. Gillespie served as Reason magazine's editor in chief from 2000 to 2008. Under his direction, Reason won the 2005 Western Publications Association "Maggie" Award for Best Political Magazine. Gillespie originally joined Reason's staff in 1993 as an assistant editor and ascended to the top slot in 2000. In 2004, Gillespie edited the book Choice: The Best of Reason, an anthology of the magazine's best articles. Gillespie's work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Post, Slate, Salon, Time.com, Marketplace, and numerous other publications. He was a regular contributor to the late, lamented satire site, Suck, where he wrote under the name Mr. Mxyzptlk. He is a frequent commentator on radio and television networks such as National Public Radio, CNBC, CNN, C-SPAN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC. He has also worked as a reporter for several New Jersey newspapers and as an editor at several Manhattan-based music, movie, and teen magazines. He is almost certainly the only journalist to have interviewed both Ozzy Osbourne and the 2002 Nobel laureate in economics, Vernon Smith. In 1996, Gillespie received his Ph.D. in English literature from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also holds an M.A. in English with a concentration in creative writing from Temple University and a B.A. in English and Psychology from Rutgers University. Gillespie, the father of two sons, lives in Washington, DC, and Oxford, Ohio.

 Roger M. Richards, Producer
Roger M. Richards began his journalism career as a photojournalist, focusing on political and social themes in the Caribbean, and the civil wars in El Salvador and Nicaragua. He then joined the Gamma Liaison (now Getty Images) photo agency as a contract photographer in 1988. Based in Miami and then Europe, his work with the agency included the US invasion of Panama, political upheaval in Haiti, civil war in Croatia and the siege of Sarajevo. He was multimedia editor/producer for The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Virginia from 2001 to 2007. He is a former Associated Press photo bureau chief in Bogotá, Colombia, and also a staff photographer at the Washington Times in Washington, DC, from 1997-2000. He became a digital filmmaker in 1998, focusing on projects about war in the Balkans. In 1999 he was one of the first graduates of the Platypus Workshop and in 2002 he joined Dirck Halstead and PF Bentley on the Platypus faculty. Richards is also the editor and publisher of the The Digital Filmmaker

 Ted Balaker, Producer
Reason's Ted Balaker is a former producer for John Stossel at ABC News. His written work has appeared in many publications, including Investor's Business Daily, The Los Angeles Times, and The New York Times. He is co-author of The Road More Traveled: Why the Congestion Crisis Matters More Than You Think and What We Can Do About It.

Paul Feine, Producer
Before coming to reason.tv, Paul designed and directed a wide range of educational seminars and workshops for filmmakers, journalists and college students at the Institute for Humane Studies. He also produced several documentaries and short films, including UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES: EMINENT DOMAIN in cooperation with Free to Choose Media. At reason.tv, Paul has produced programs on topics ranging from immigration and agricultural subsidies to Second Life and the American beer revolution. In 2009, MISSISSIPPI DRUG WAR BLUES: THE CASE OF CORY MAYE won the award for best documentary short at the Oxford Film Festival. Paul's latest production is an hour-long documentary featuring Drew Carey called REASON SAVES CLEVELAND.

 Dan Hayes, Producer

Dan Hayes is a Producer for reason.tv. Before joining reason, Dan completed a feature documentary film 'Brothers in Song' about the Miami University Men's Glee Club in Oxford, OH. Dan studied Mass Communication and graduated from Miami University in 2005.  He is originally from Wauwatosa, WI.
